(Deuteronomy 26) From the earliest of times, our Hebrew ancestors were in exile, wandering in Egypt and through the wilderness. Our Christian stories take us on journeys as well. These stories tell us about Jesus wandering from village to village, inviting people to join him on the journey. At Christ Church, we understand the importance of the journey. As we journey together, we have many questions. We are reassured that there is more faith in honest doubt than in absolute certainty. It is an honour to be a part of the life of the faithful people at Christ Church. As I have been warmly welcomed, I have discovered people who want to support me and each other as we continue to discern God's will for this Parish. The Holy Spirit is alive as we gather for worship, and fellowship, and as we volunteer and work in the communities where we live.
